Brecon Bowling Club was opened in May 1950. We enjoy a very pretty and quiet location with views of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) , close to Brecon’s riverside promenade.
Members enjoy a full programme of bowling, to include:
Mid Wales Men’s League, Mixed League and Veterans League games played between eight clubs across Mid Wales.
In addition, a local ‘Municipal’ league is played weekly, Club competitions take place across the summer and we enjoy a strong tradition of playing friendly games with teams from all over South Wales, as well as touring teams from across the UK
We also host and organise the annual ‘Danny Musto’ open tournament , which attracts bowlers from across the UK with prize money totalling £450.00
Regular social events are held, making good use of our excellent clubhouse facilities
New members and Visitors are always welcome, with qualified coaches available to help - we look forward to seeing you!
